Day 3 was more of a rest day...our legs and arms couldn't handle more today lol. I did get up early and took a walk with my mom before work.

My daughter and I did the 20 minute low impact-no jumping video.
Today's fb memories showed me what I looked like this time last year (after like 3 walking challenges) and I DEFINITELY need to get back on track. No excuses. Emmaleigh and I are determined to get in shape, get stronger, and feel better.

I have missed y'all! I've recently had a big change in my life and I'm trying to figure out how to squeeze a workout in my new routine.
I went from working 3rd shift as a CNA, to working 1st shift as a custodian. My CNA job wasn't very physical as the residents were more independent. Being a custodian at a school has been very physical. I'm lifting, squatting, and running around all day.
How do you do it?! By the time I get home, do whatever cleaning/other household stuff, and cook supper, I have nothing more in me. My muscles are so sore that I don't think I could do a 20 minute workout let alone an hour.

Tried pilates for the first time today. It was a nice change from weight lifting. Then enjoyed a nice warm (but windy) walk.

I did the 20 min metcon x abs..great workout. It wasn't so insane where my body feels like jello, but enough to get the heart pumping, sweat and feel energized.

I tend to sabotage my own progress so this 21 day challenge has been great for me. I also tend to go all out and hurt myself and then don't exercise for a day...which leads to 2 and then it's a month. So I have to go slow and build stamina/strength again. I'm getting there!
